Born-Haber Cycles

The Born-Haber cycle is a thermodynamic cycle regariding lattice enthalpies. A cycle can be constructed to find unknown enthalpies by applying Hess's Law.

Entropy

Entropy is a measure of disorder. Gibb's Free Energy is an equation that links both entropy and enthalpy change and its value determines the feasibility of a reaction. A negative free energy change means a feasible reaction.
